Native Legal Net

Do I Qualify?

There are three tests before you can qualify as a DNA client:

  1. We need to ensure that it’s not a “conflict of interest” for DNA to represent you in your case against the person you want to sue.
  2. You must be in the U.S. legally (with the exception that we can serve illegal immigrant victims of domestic violence in certain cases).
  3. Our main funder, Legal Services Corporation, only allows us to serve low income clients who have few assets.  But, we do have several other grants which allow us to serve clients at higher income/asset limits, and in some domestic violence cases, we have no income/asset limits.

Please contact your local DNA office to see if you may be eligible.  Keep in mind that even if you are an eligible client, we have limited resources, and we may not be able to fully represent you in your case.  If you do not qualify for DNA’s services, we may still be able to provide you with materials regarding your legal issues, or direct you to someplace that can help you.
